Hygroseal™ de-aeration valve for

Underfloor Heating Manifolds

 

 

The Aladdin automatic de-aeration valve range now includes a model for underfloor heating system manifolds, the UFH Autovent.  The UFH Autovent utilises the same patented Hygroseal™ technology that has operated the Aladdin Autovent radiator de-aeration valves since 2006.  The UFH Autovent differs from the rest of the range in that its different combination of internal materials allows it to operate at lower temperatures than the radiator-bleeding versions.

 

Aladdin Autovents continue to provide a cost-effective solution to automatic de-aeration due to their long, leak-free life:  the UFH Autovent has a 3 year operating guarantee, and will not leak at the eventual end of its operating life.

The UFH Autovent automatically vents air or gas which keeps underfloor heating pipe-runs gas-free, thereby saving energy through eliminating cold-spots.

 

 

 

 

Technical

 

The valves are fitted to the system manifold instead of either manual bleed or automatic float vents.  They are fully automatic, requiring no manual adjustment and will not leak.

 

The superior Aladdin Autovent valve range all incorporate:

·         a ‘positive dual-seal’ mechanism (patent pending) and

·         a back-up system (patent pending)

which together both eliminate leaks and extend the working life of the valve.

 

At higher temperatures and pressures the vent cycle is faster.  This table relates to a 1 bar pressure cycle.
